What should I expect at the airport for an international flight?
Give yourself extra time, keep your passport and airline app handy, check bags if needed, go through TSA, and head to the gate. International travel adds a few steps, but the airport signs and airline app will guide you through them.
What happens when we land in Italy?
After landing in Naples: passport control, baggage claim, customs, then meet our pre-arranged transportation. Two vans will take the group to Palazzo Pascal, and help with bags will be available as needed. See Arriving in Italy →
Do I need to carry my passport every day?
You’ll need it on travel and hotel check-in days. Once checked in, secure it at the hotel and keep a photo/copy accessible unless the original is specifically needed.
Will my phone work in Italy?
Yes, with an international carrier option or eSIM. Download offline maps before leaving too. See Phones & Internet →
Do I need cash?
Cards will do most of the work, but some euros are useful for small purchases and incidentals. See Money & Payments →
How much walking should I expect?
Expect hills, stairs, stone paths and uneven surfaces. Comfortable shoes matter. See the Packing Checklist →
What should I bring on the boat?
Swimwear, cover-up, sandals, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, water and anything you use for motion comfort. The checklist has the full boat-day list.
Do I need an Italy adapter?
Robin & Darin are bringing one multi-port Italy travel adapter for each guest. Bring your normal charging cables.
What if I don’t eat seafood or pasta?
No problem. There are plenty of grilled meats, cheeses, vegetables, salads and familiar choices. See Food & Drinks →
Will we have downtime?
Yes. There are opportunities to rest, enjoy Palazzo Pascal and choose a lighter pace when it makes sense.
Do I need to know Italian?
No. A few phrases are useful and fun, but you do not need to speak Italian to enjoy the trip.
What if the weather or plans change?
Traffic, boats and coastal weather can occasionally shift timing. We’ll stay flexible and adjust together if something changes.
